The tour drives along the road up to the famous fortress of Sacsahuaman, then to Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Includes Tourist ticket valid for the entrance to many museums and ruins as well.
Daily Tours. Private and pool service. Start 9 AM. Duration: 9 AM-18.30 PM. You will visit the village of Pisaq and its traditional market, the ruins of Ollantaytambo, the archaeological village of Chinchero. 09:00 Hrs. Pick up of passengers from the hotel. You will visit PISAQ at 32Km, located to both margins of the river Vilcanota, it is a strategic lookout point on the Town of Taray and has a wonderful view on the Sacred Valley of the Inkas. Then we will continue to Urubamba to have lunch, subsequently to go to OLLANTAYTAMBO. After the visit you return by the same road to the town of Urubamba, of where your last visit is that of the town of CHINCHERO, located to the north of the city of the Cuzco, an old inka agricultural centre. You will we back in Cuzco approximately at the 19:30 hours.
Leaves daily. Leaves 6 AM – 7 PM approximately. At 5 AM you will be picked up from the hotel to the train station to catch the tourist train to Aguas Calientes town ( 4 hours) , on the way you will appreciate wide and snowy landscapes as well as the change of vegetation from the Andean scenery to beautiful tropical valleys. From Aguas Calientes you will walk or board a bus for a 30 minute drive up the road to MachuPicchu sanctuary. Once at the site you will have some time guided to explore the Inca citadel for yourself. Around 3:00 PM you descend by bus or walking to catch the train to Cuzco and then a transfer to your hotel.
Day 1: Leaves daily. Leaves 6 AM – 7 PM approximately. At 5 AM you will be picked up from the hotel to the train station to catch the tourist train to Aguas Calientes town (4 hours). In Aguas Calientes you will install first in your hostal or hotel and then there are 2 options to go from Aguas Calientes to the Machu Picchu sanctuary: walking or by bus. Before you enter the site, there is a cafeteria, luggage storage and toilets. Your guide will give you a guided walking tour of the ruins explaining all about the culture, buildings and the lifestyle of the Incas who lived there. After that you’ll have free time: it is also possible to climb the Huayna Picchu, which towers above the ruins, but it is a hard climb to the spectacular view from the top ( takes about 50 minutes). After the Machu Picchu you can go back to Aguas Calientes by bus or walking, where you can visit the nearby hot springs, located just behind the town of Aguas Calientes, or go to your hotel.
Day 2: It is possible for you to visit the ruins of Macchu Picchu this morning instead of the previous afternoon or you may wish to visit the ruins twice. This is optional. The train back is due to variety of train departure times, but most trains depart Aguas Calientes between 4 PM and 5.20 PM. You will approximately arrive in Cuzco sometime between 8.30 – 9.30 PM. It is recommended to lunch in Aguas Calientes before returning to Cuzco.
Day 1: You start at Km.104 by crossing the Vilcanota/Urubamba river. Climbing away from the river, along an Inca highway, through luxuriant vegetation, home of hundreds of endemic species of birds and orchids, emerging from the cloud forest at WiñayWayna. WiñayWayna is one of the most impressive Inca sites of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. The following day, very early in the morning you leave Wiñaywayna to go to Intipunku ( the Gate of the Sun), to watch the sun rise over Machu Picchu. Here, the final stretch of the royal Inca highway takes you into the citadel itself, covered for four centuries by forest and now laid out before you. You continue your hike to Aguas Calientes village, where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Machu Picchu Cusco
An Early rise will give us ample time to start our guided visit of the Machu
Pichu citadel. After the guided tour which will last for approximately 3 hours
there is enough time to discover the ruins by ourselves. In the afternoon we
descend to the train station where the train will be waiting to bring us back
to Cusco.
DAY 1: Qoriwayrachina – Patallaqta – wayllabamba – tres
piedras – Llulluchapampa ( 6-7 hours)
The route starts at Qoriwayrachina , 55 miles from the start of the Inca Trail.
The first day of the trail is easy and not as steep as in the days to follow.
You enter the Urubamba valley and will be able to see the snow-capped peak
of La Veronica. An introduction to Inca civilization comes at LLAQTAPATA - "the
terraced city". Below is PULPITUYOQ, a place for paying homage to the
dead.
DAY TWO: LLULLUCHAPAMPA - RUNKURAKAY -SAYAQMARKA - PHUYUPATAMARKA. (6- 7 hours)
You’ll rise with the dawn and after an early breakfast you set off for
the famous WARMIWANUSKA (dead woman) pass, which is the highest point of the
trail at 13,780 feet above sea level. Walking on a remarkably preserved Inca
Trail passing ancient archaeological sites covered by dense jungle overgrowth,
later visiting the Phuyupatamarca (city above clouds) with spectacular view
of snow covered Andean ranges
DAY THREE: PHYUPATAMARKA - INTIPATA - WIÑAY WAYNA
(2.5 hours)
Waking up early, leaving behind Phuyupatamarca, you walk towards Wyñaywayna,
probably the most spectacular archaeological complex during the trek. What
also
impresses are the sixteen streams running parallel down the terraces.
DAY FOUR: WIÑAYWAYNA - MACHUPICCHU (2.5 hours)
After an early breakfast you will pass through the Inti Punku ( gate of the
sun) you will arrive to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. The sky
begins to clear and the path narrows, you can look down on the river Urubamba
and Aguas Calientes. After visiting Machu Picchu (3hours) you go to Aguas
Calientes. You can relaz in a hotspring, just outside Aguas Calientes village.
Day 1: Private transportation will pick you up at your hotel, after one and a half-hours drive you arrive at the shores of the Upper Urubamba River. Professional Rafting Guides will give you a safety talk and provide you with all the proper equipment for Rafting. You will be rafting for approximately two and half-hours, running class II and III, introductory type rapids. Afterwards, you arrive to the take-out, where lunch will be served and you can relax. You return to Cuzco at around 5.00 pm.
Day 2: After a very good night sleep you will have breakfast and drive up the river for a new exciting day of white water rafting. Today you will be doing class III and IV rapids. You will spend about two and half-hours in the water arriving later to the camp. A Bar BQ lunch will be served and we should be back in Cuzco around 5:00 PM.
Day 1: At around 9.00 AM you drive from through the Andes ( 4 hours) to the put-in point at Huallpachaca bridge (2,000 mts. altitude) It will take about two hours to prepare all the equipment. You will be given a safety briefing, explaining different rafting techniques and safety procedures. Emphasis is put on training all the participants. You will raft for 2 or 3 hours, including Class II and III rapids. Then camp in a narrow gorge with impressive rock walls. Here the guides will prepare dinner, as you relax around the campfire.
Day 2: After breakfast we start rafting around 10:00 AM. You’ll be in the water for about 4 1/2 hour doing mostly class III and IV rapids, stopping for lunch and arriving to camp between 3:00pm and 4:00pm, you sleep on a sandy beach under the night sky of the southern hemisphere.
Day 3: After breakfast you are going to be rafting through a couple of class V rapids, after 3 or 4 hours of rafting you will arrive to camp at another nice sandy beach at river night, lunch and happy hour before dinner are included.
Day 4: After breakfast you will float down and encounter rapids class V and arriving for lunch at the take out where we pack all the equipment and drive back to Cuzco arriving around 6:00 PM.
